June 2022 Chick Fostering

Experience the joy of raising chicks from the comfort of your home!

Live in a subdivision with HOAs, but still want a farm experience? Or are you interested in raising chicks but don’t want the commitment of a backyard flock? We have the perfect solution for you!

Be the farmer for 3 weeks with our chick fostering program! Our story started with 5 chicks and we want to share that experience with you! We’ll provide you with 5 chicks and everything you need to raise them. You’ll keep your chicks in a brooder box which takes up very little space, and is kept in doors. After three weeks, bring them back to the farm and watch them grow on our social media platforms or come back to visit and gather their eggs!

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

5 chicks, a brooder (the container you raise the chicks in), wood chips, feeder, waterer, heat lamp, 3-week supply of WHF premium non-gmo chick feed, an instructional “how to” video, and loads of laughs and life lessons for you and your loved ones!

Feel free to reach out with any questions you have!

*Limit: 5 chicks per brooder*

What if a chick passes away?

Brooding chicks teaches obvious lessons such as responsibility, work ethic, pride in ownership, and empathy. While we will do our best to only provide you with healthy chicks, there is a possibility that some will not make it. On average one in ten chicks do not survive their first three weeks of life. Losing a chick teaches us that death is a part of life and that each day we have is a gift. We will not hold you at fault for chicks that do not survive.
