What if a chick passes away?
Raising chicks is a rewarding experience that fosters responsibility, work ethic, and empathy. While we take every precaution to provide you with healthy chicks, it's important to understand that some may not survive. On average, about one in every ten chicks do not make it through their first few weeks of life.
Loss is never easy, but it is a natural part of raising animals. It serves as a reminder that life is precious and each day is a gift. If a chick does not survive, please know that you are not to blame. Our goal is to support you in providing the best care possible and to help you navigate both the joys and challenges of raising chicks. Every experience—whether joyful or difficult—helps us grow as caretakers, and we are here to guide you every step of the way.
